Position Title:     Engagement Manager  

Job Description:

Lead a team focused on solving complex business problems using data analytics and reengineering studies. Work with clients to identify key business problems and areas for improvement. Oversee team activities in gathering data, creating financial models, and performing analyses. Ensure high-quality work and provide guidance. Use various software tools such as SAS, R, Hadoop, Hive, Python, SQL, Excel, VBA, PowerPoint, Tableau, Visio, MARS and CART for risk analytics. Develop and adjust procedures to address complex issues. Manage daily project tasks, handle issues and obstacles, and organize findings to recommend new business systems and processes. Collaborate with client technology teams to update legacy systems and incorporate advanced analytics, including Big Data. Coordinate with senior client management and other teams to implement solutions and achieve project goals. Handle project management tasks for solution implementation, working with vendors and client teams across Risk, Marketing, Capabilities, and Operations. Present evaluation results and recommendations to senior leadership and executives. This position will require up to 4% travel within the U.S. to client sites and up to 8% travel to other EXL offices. Job Requirements:

Requires Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a directly related field plus five (5) years of experience in Banking and data analytics.  Must have atleast five (5) years of experience with the following: Working with complex data structures and large datasets in a real business setting, Risk analytics for business development and finance in banking or insurance industry,  Utilizing R, Python, SAS, SQL, Excel, VBA, PPT, Tableau, Visio, MARS, and CART software. Coding complex algorithms and familiarity with key modeling techniques including logistic regression, gradient boosting models (GBM) and statistical clustering methodologies, Working with Big Data tools (Hive or Pig Hadoop) for data extraction and analysis of large and complex datasets, This position will require up to 4% travel within the U.S. to client sites and up to 8% travel to other EXL offices. Salary range : $160,000 - $ 175,000 per /year. 40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm
