Business Development Manager - Landscape Construction and Installation

What You'll Do:
You'll drive new sales for our Landscape Installation Division, primarily focusing on commercial projects while strategically targeting residential developers. Your role involves:
- Driving Commercial Sales: Securing landscape construction and installation projects with commercial developers, general contractors, and property management firms.
- Strategic Residential Engagement: Developing relationships with select residential developers to secure aligned landscape installation projects.
- Building Lasting Relationships: Fostering strong, long-term connections with stakeholders in both commercial and residential sectors.
- Pipeline Management: Utilizing our CRM to manage leads, track sales activities, and develop proposals.
- Market Expansion: Identifying growth opportunities and supporting branding initiatives for both commercial and residential projects.
- Industry Presence: Representing The Budd Group at industry events and trade shows (travel within service area required).
What You Bring:
You're a sales pro with a proven track record in landscape construction, commercial site development, or commercial real estate/development. Residential development experience is a plus. We're also looking for:
- Strong understanding of the commercial construction and development industry.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Grasp of landscape construction estimating principles.
- Proficiency in Google Office Suite and CRM software.
- Highly self-motivated and goal-oriented with independent work capabilities.
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent industry experience is highly valued.
