Senior Vice President of Sales
Position Summary
The Senior Vice President of Sales will lead the growth and evolution of IMG Academy’s NCSA national inside sales organization—a large, remote team dedicated to helping student-athletes and families access digital products and expert coaching that support their dreams of playing college sports and growing through the power of sport.
This leader will be responsible for a high-impact sales team of 500+ professionals, including direct oversight of sales leadership, sales operations, sales enablement, and training. The team’s work is about building trust, guiding families, and representing IMG Academy with clarity, care, and consistency. Every interaction is a chance to be a brand ambassador who communicates our values and mission.
This role calls for a modern sales executive, someone who blends strategic vision with operational discipline and who understands how to scale multi-channel sales efforts across phone, digital, chat, SMS, and more. The right candidate will know how to meet consumers where they are while building a culture rooted in accountability, performance, and purpose. Ultimately, this person will help shape not just a high-performing sales engine—but a team that believes in what we do, how we do it, and who we do it for.
Position Responsibilities
- Lead a National Remote Sales Force: Manage the performance and development of 500+ inside sales professionals across distributed teams.
- Own Core Sales Functions: Directly oversee sales leadership, operations, enablement, and training—ensuring strategic alignment, productivity, and culture.
- Drive Growth Through Digital Sales: Expand sales of digital offerings such as recruiting services, virtual coaching, and performance development programs.
- Foster Brand-Driven Customer Engagement: Ensure every team member communicates with brand consistency in voice, tone, and information—building trust with families.
- Leverage Multi-Channel Strategy: Build and optimize sales models across inbound, outbound, digital, chat, and SMS channels to meet prospects where they are and maximize conversion.
- Enable Operational Excellence: Utilize CRM systems, sales enablement platforms, and analytics tools to monitor performance, identify opportunities, and drive improvement.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with Product, Marketing, Technology, and Services to align messaging, customer experience, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Champion Culture and Purpose: Create a mission-aligned, high-performance sales culture that values development, execution, and the transformative power of sport.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- 10+ years leading large-scale inside sales organizations (ideally teams of 200+) in B2C digital services, SaaS, or education/sports tech
- Proven ability to manage and scale remote or distributed sales teams while consistently driving measurable revenue growth
- Expertise in modern inside sales strategies—meeting customers where they are through inbound, outbound, chat, SMS, and digital channels
- Deep knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), sales enablement platforms, and the use of analytics to optimize performance and drive smarter decisions
- Demonstrated success in creating scalable processes and leading high-performance sales cultures
- Strategic thinker with a passion for youth development, education, and impact-driven work
- A collaborative spirit, with a history of building strong partnerships across Product, Marketing, Tech, and Service teams
- Experience within youth sports, recruiting, or educational platforms is strongly preferred
