PAY RANGE: $101,600.00 - $125,000.00 ANNUALLY
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Product and Risk Transformation Program Manager will act as a strategic partner and advisor, ensuring the seamless operation of the Product and Risk Operations team. This role involves coordinating key strategic roadmaps, facilitating communication, ensuring collaboration, and driving initiatives that align with the team business strategies. The Program Manager will work closely with the EVP – Chief Lending Officer (CLO) and other senior leaders to enable the achievement of business outcomes.
TASKS, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS:
- Assist the EVP – Chief Lending Officer and the leadership team in developing, coordinating, and communicating strategic objectives and outcomes.
- Think and lead strategically while providing support to further the Product and Risk Operations roadmap and associated business outcomes.
- Capture, organize, and manage tactical issues/initiatives to facilitate decision making across the leadership team and ensure we deliver on our commitments.
- Coordinate and develop content to ensure the EVP/CLO and leadership team are prepared for key recurring deliverables including business reviews, monthly/executive updates, leadership meetings, and technology prioritization.
- Support the leadership team to foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that embraces tough conversations
- Serve as a liaison between the EVP/CLO and internal/external stakeholders to enable effective communication and broader organizational engagement.
- Manage ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by the EVP/CLO.
- Provides the EVP/CLO independent, informed, smart, and unbiased insight and feedback.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to the credit union.
PHYSICAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXERTION UTILIZED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE TASKS:
- Effective oral, interpersonal, relationship, and written communication skills required to drive Transformation.
- Must possess sufficient manual dexterity to skillfully operate an on-line computer terminal and other standard office equipment, such as financial calculators, personal computer, facsimile machine and telephone.
ORGANIZATIONAL CONTACTS & RELATIONSHIPS:
- INTERNAL: Management group and all levels of staff, Audit department, Committees, and Board of Directors.
- EXTERNAL: Members, partners, and peers in financial institutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- EDUCATION: Minimum of AA degree in business related courses. Bachelor’s Degree in business or related major preferred.
- EXPERIENCE: Five plus years of retail banking experience, and retail financial institution change management work.
- KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Proven work experience as a team leader or manager.
- Superb professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and discretion.
- Proactive mindset with excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced work environment.
- Thorough knowledge of the Credit Union’s strategic goals, business initiatives, and priorities.
- Quick learner, responsive, ability to multi-task, with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Strong project management skills to track multiple concurrent projects and follow-through with senior management as required keeping deliverables and deadlines on track to successful completion.
- Independent worker with ability to be flexible and work in a team environment.
- Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Microsoft Windows Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with astute attention to grammatical details.
- Strong interpersonal skills, friendly, humble, patient, and adaptable.
- Demonstrates exceptional service in all that they do, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions and communications.
- Strong leadership and in-depth knowledge of organizational structure and resources.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged sitting throughout the workday with occasional mobility required.
- Corrected vision within the normal range.
- Hearing within normal range. A device to enhance hearing will be provided if needed.
- Ability to lift 15 lbs. as may be required.
- Occasional movements throughout the department daily to interact with staff, accomplish tasks, etc.
- Limited local and statewide travel by car or public conveyance.
- Unusually long work hours may be required to accomplish tasks.
