Job Summary

This performance-based role emphasizes strengthening and expanding existing customer relationships to enhance revenue through strategic renewals, upselling, and cross-selling. You'll take personal ownership of these relationships, ensuring clients are continuously engaged and see the value in maintaining and expanding their use of MPS products. This will cultivate lasting loyalty and solidify your role as a key partner in their success.

Job Duties

  • Serve as the primary commercial functional lead for your assigned sales region, driving strategy implementation as defined by the Regional Sales Manager (RSM).
  • Coordinate customer quotes and manage commercial contracts and agreements, ensuring alignment with MPS's strategic goals.
  • Fully utilize Salesforce CRM capabilities to maintain visibility of the total opportunity pipeline, track sales campaign initiatives, monitor quality concerns, manage end-user product approvals, and record touchpoints and reason codes.
  • Collect business intelligence from end users and channel partners to bolster strategic initiatives and support market share growth within your region.
  • Develop a deep understanding of key customer accounts, working in tandem with the RSM to craft and execute targeted strategies that expand MPS's presence and influence in the market.
  • Provide critical feedback on market trends and pricing to the MPS Pricing team, aiding the quotation and agreement renewal processes.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between MPS and sales representative agencies, coordinating campaign initiatives and ensuring effective tracking and communication of sales activities.
  • Present strategic sales initiatives to internal stakeholders, ensuring cross-departmental alignment and support for regional sales goals.
  • Lead collaborative efforts with other departments to promptly address and resolve customer issues, maintaining high standards of service and reliability.
  • Manage pricing, ordering, tracking, and reporting through computerized systems, and provide troubleshooting support as needed.
  • Support RSMs and third-party sales reps with Salesforce.
  • Review and handle quoting opportunities that exceed the set threshold, ensuring optimal pricing strategies are applied.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filling out customer forms and maintaining Customer Blanket Master sheets.
  • Understand and manage any deviations from standard commercial terms or conditions, ensuring compliance and alignment with corporate policies.
  • Maintain proficiency in JD Edwards and CRM data entry, ensuring accurate and timely information management.

 

                                          

  • Seek opportunities to enhance customer service and support the commercialization of new product launches in collaboration with the customer service, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Work closely with the production and distribution teams to provide direction and prioritization that meets customer requirements.
  • Organize and conduct internal and external sales calls to drive engagement and alignment.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the overall business objectives and ensure customer satisfaction.

Experience and Education

  • Ability to lead diverse teams and drive sales effectiveness.
  • Strong capability in designing and implementing sales processes aligned to the strategic goals of the business.
  • Experience prioritizing tasks & managing collaboration between multiple forces.
  • Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations.
  • Strong organizational skills with superior follow-through; ability to summarize status at executive level.
  • Experience in Power BI and/or JDE Reports Now
  • SalesForce experience a plus
  • Typically require a bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of experience
