Capitol Distributing, founded in 1983, is the largest convenience wholesale distributor in Idaho, serving retailers across the Western U.S. from our state-of-the-art 300,000 sq. ft. distribution center in Caldwell. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to join our Fulfillment Loading Team.

What You'll Do

As a Fulfillment Loading Clerk, you’ll play a critical role in preparing customer orders by accurately and efficiently loading product, produce, and other items into our delivery trucks. You’ll work in a refrigerated environment and help ensure that every order is complete, organized, and ready to roll.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load outbound trucks/routes in delivery schedule order

• Free-stack cases of product (up to 60 lbs.) into trailers

• Use a scanner to track product and verify order accuracy

• Inspect product quality before loading

• Operate loading equipment safely as needed

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of loading area and trucks

• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned

What to Expect

• Environment: Work in refrigerated areas (30–38°F) with a consistent flow of product

• Pace: Fast-paced and physically demanding (lifting, bending, stacking)

• Schedule:

  • Swing Shift: 4 days/week (afternoon to night)

  • One weekend day required

  • Shifts range 10–12 hours

  • Enjoy 3 consistent days off per week

  • Overtime may be required based on business needs

What You Bring

• Previous warehouse or loading experience is a plus

• Comfortable lifting and stacking cases up to 60 lbs.

• Able to work in refrigerated environments for extended periods

• Safety-minded and able to operate loading equipment

• Must be 18+ years old

• Willingness to work occasional overtime
