Line Cook/Chef- Chantilly Heights

Bacon, eggs and more – oh my! Chantilly Heights Memory Care is hiring for a skilled and dependable Line Cook and we are hungry for your culinary skills!    

No long nights in the kitchen! The shifts for this position are 10:00am-6:00pm or 6:00am-6:00pm.

As a line cook you would be expected to…

• Assist with the preparation, seasoning and cooking of all salads, soups, fish, meats, vegetables, dessert and all other foods
• Communicate and work efficiently with other dietary and healthcare staff to ensure accuracy in a fast paced, high stress environment
• Adhere to all food handling and hygiene practices
• Accurately estimate quantities of food required and utilize leftovers properly to reduce waste
• Prepare restaurant quality, nutritionally balanced and attractively served meals, our goal is to provide the best food and service for our residents.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior cooking experience and knowledge of special diets
• Ability to prepare and cook a variety of foods in large quantities
