EXL Health is looking for a Business Strategy Manager. This is a remote role within the US.

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic thinker to join our Payment Integrity Business Unit as a Business Strategy Manager. In this role, you will work closely with the General Manager (BU Head) and the leadership team to synthesize cross-functional information, insights from diverse business streams & generate impactful strategic recommendations. Your insights, driven by rigorous research and analysis, will fuel business growth, guide new product development, enrich marketing content and sales narratives, enhance operational efficiency, and empower informed leadership decisions.

The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of the payment integrity industry, US Healthcare and a future-oriented perspective, capable of identifying and capitalizing on opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

PMO & Leadership Reporting

  • Develop high-impact presentations and executive briefs, effectively communicating insights for the leadership’s consumption.
  • Assist in the development and execution of strategic initiatives that support business growth & operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, leaders & track progress/ milestones against established timelines and budgets. Track key business performance metrics and provide analytical support to drive data-informed decisions.

Business Strategy & Research

  • Formulate and implement growth-focused strategies, explore new avenues for growth within Payment Integrity business.
  • Conduct thorough research and due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, evaluating potential opportunities and risks to inform strategic decisions. Deliver actionable recommendations that align with clients’ overall growth and transformation goals.

Business Development & presales

  • Participate in deal design & RFP solution development process. Understand the RFXs scope, EXL’s payment services capabilities & help design winning value proposition for the customer
  • Help create capability /sales pitches, documents, demos, & supporting material to enable solution selling & business development activities.

Marketing Support

  • Analyze market dynamics, including technological and healthcare/payment integrity landscape shifts.
  • Contribute to sales and market intelligence by providing critical analysis of competitor offerings, SWOT, pricing, market share, and customer base
  • Support the creation of marketing materials such as case studies, playbooks, white papers, POVs, and product videos.

 

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 3-5 years of experience in strategy, consulting, business analysis, or a related field.
  • Experience with Information Technology and data analytics domains
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and extract actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; experience creating executive-level presentations.
  • Strong research capabilities with the ability to synthesize information from various sources.
  • Ability to work cross functionally and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly detail-oriented, with strong problem solving and critical-thinking skills.

 

Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to think critically, problem-solve, and adapt to a rapidly changing healthcare environment.
  • Collaboration and relationship-building skills to work across multidisciplinary teams.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with US Healthcare is a plus.
  • Background in mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, or business development.
