We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Marketing Technology Specialist with expertise in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Journey Orchestrator (AJO) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and leveraging these platforms to enhance customer experience, drive data-driven decision-making, improve marketing campaign performance and impact MarTech strategy.

 

This is a fast-paced, nimble area of the business with both strategic and tactical support components that require pre-existing knowledge of Marketing Technology solutions, as well as extensive experience in leading enterprise level portfolios and programs within multi-channel marketing activation environments and large first party audiences utilizing lean, agile, and waterfall delivery methodologies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Digital Business Understanding:

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of digital business strategies and how marketing technology can support and enhance these strategies.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to inform technology-driven marketing strategies.
  • Ensure that marketing technology initiatives are aligned with the overall digital business objectives, driving growth and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement the MarTech roadmap and strategy, aligning with digital business goals and industry best practices.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, providing strategic guidance and ensuring alignment on MarTech initiatives.

 

Platform Management:

  • Implement, configure, and maintain Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Journey Orchestrator (AJO) across multiple business units.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, IT, analytics) to ensure the effective use of AEP and AJO.
  • Manage integration between AEP, AJO, and other marketing technologies, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency.
  • Use AEP’s advanced audience segmentation tools to create targeted, personalized marketing experiences.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to define and build customer segments based on behavioral, demographic, and transactional data.
  • Conduct regular testing and optimization of marketing technology tools to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to ensure best practices in the implementation and integration of marketing technologies.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide solutions that minimize disruption and maintain project momentum.

 

Marketing Automation and Operations:

  • Design, execute, and manage automated marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement and conversion.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive marketing operations framework, including processes, workflows, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of marketing technologies with overall business goals.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of MarTech initiatives and their impact on business objectives.
  • Prepare and present regular status reports, performance analyses, and recommendations for optimization to senior leadership and stakeholders.

 

Hands-On Martech Expertise:

  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in marketing technology and tools.
  • Provide hands-on expertise in configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing Martech solutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, offering strategic insights and recommendations to enhance marketing strategies and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with governance standards, regulatory requirements, and data security practices.

 

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for leveraging marketing technologies to improve customer experience, data analytics, and overall marketing effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize technology initiatives, ensuring they align with business goals.
  • Oversee end-to-end project management for MarTech initiatives, including defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Utilize appropriate project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools to ensure projects adhere to established methodologies.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Technology Specialist or similar role, with expertise in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Journey Orchestrator (AJO).
  • Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation, data management, and customer journey orchestration.
  • Experience in designing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns and customer journeys.
  • Familiarity with other Adobe products (e.g., Adobe Campaign, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Strong technical aptitude, including the ability to integrate AEP/AJO with other platforms and systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing and/or advertising technology roles.
  • Adobe certifications (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert in AEP or AJO) are a plus.
  • Experience with cloud-based marketing technologies or enterprise marketing platforms.
  • The individual should have a background in the media and entertainment industry.
