Assistant Manager, Benefits, Americas (Remote)
We are seeking an Assistant Manager, Benefits to join our team and to support benefit programs, procedures, and policies for the Americas Region. As an Assistant Manager, Benefits at our company, you will be tasked with ensuring that our benefits programs properly operating. You will work with the Benefits AVP in the creation and implementation of new benefit programs that will help our company attract and retain top performers.
You will also play a key role in resolving any issues that arise promptly, as well as informing the management about benefit usage by gathering and distributing benefit reports. Training, counseling, and mentoring employees on how to use their benefits, such as PTO and health insurance, will also be a part of your core responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Key contact for the operation of the assigned benefit programs: (Medical, Life Insurance, Leave of Absences, and Retirement Plans, etc.) for the Americas Region (USA, Canada and Latin America).
- Update existing benefit policies and introduce new ones when necessary.
- Keep employees up to date regarding benefit plans, procedures, and policies.
- Answer employee questions and help solve issues by clarifying benefit policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business administration, Management, or a relevant field.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in managing the Benefits lifecycle in the USA, Canada and Latin America.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
- Prior comprehensive benefit administration experience in medium or large companies
- Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
