We are seeking a Senior Benefits Manager to join our team and plan, implement, and manage benefit programs, procedures, and policies for the Americas Region. As a Senior Benefits Manager at our company, you will be tasked with ensuring that our benefits programs and individual plans are aligned with our employees’ needs. Apart from evaluating and updating our current benefit program, we expect you to create and implement new ones that will help our company attract and retain top performers. Fully Remote.

 

You will also communicate with vendors and important third parties to negotiate deals, discuss benefit plans, and resolve any issues that arise promptly, as well as inform the management about benefit usage by gathering and distributing benefit reports. Training, counseling, and mentoring employees on how to use their benefits, such as PTO and health insurance, will also be a part of your core responsibilities. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development, implementation and operation of the benefit programs for the Americas Region (USA, Canada and Latin America).
  • Update existing benefit policies and introduce new ones when necessary.
  • Make sure our benefits plans are in accordance with employees’ needs.
  • Assessing and adjusting our company’s current benefit plans.
  • Developing new benefit plans to attract top-performers and improve retention rate/increase employee satisfaction.
  • Liaising with vendors to negotiate deals and resolve any issues that may occur.
  • Keep employees up to date regarding benefit plans, procedures, and policies.
  • Prepare benefits budget and create monthly/quarterly reports on benefits usage.
  • Answer employee questions and help solve issues by clarifying benefit policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business administration, Management, or a relevant field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience in managing the Benefits lifecycle in the USA, Canada and Latin America.
  • Thorough understanding of benefits and compensation programs, policies, and procedures
  • Prior comprehensive benefit administration experience.
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization with exposure to C-Suite.
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to analyze and report data.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish would be a plus
  • CEBS, SHRM, or HRCI certification is a plus.
