Senior Business Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Planning and designing business processes; assists in formulating recommendations to improve and support business activities

• Work on system designs and business architecture

• Collaborate with Development and system SMEs
• Assists in analyzing and documenting client’s business requirements and processes
• Support Development and Quality Assurance efforts as needed

Skills:

• Life Insurance, Annuities and Health domain knowledge
• IT Business Analysis experience
• LifePRO or other Policy Admin Systems knowledge or user experience
• Strong experience in US life insurance products
• Familiarity with functionalities like New Business, Claims, Agency, Surrenders, Quotes, Payouts, Product Setups, etc.
• Direct client-facing / consulting experience
• Experience in requirements gathering, conducting gap analysis and writing BRD and functional specifications
• Capable of working with the test team to develop/ review test scripts and profile of test data

• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills
• Exhibit leadership skills for a project at the program level.
• Good team skills and ability to work effectively with others throughout the organization
• Technical aptitude
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a timeline driven environment
• Knowledge of ACORD standard desired.

Education Requirements

• B.TECH,MCA / MBA,PGDM (Insurance)
• Certifications in insurance (FLMI), financial services or IT Business Analysis preferred

• 10yrs – 15 yrs of experience in Life Insurance working as a Business Analyst
