Business Development Support Assistant Manager

Remote w/travel to EXL and Client sites as needed.

Candidates must live in either the Tri-State Area (NYC, New Jersey, Philadelphia; Wilmington (Delaware), or Connecticut.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development support entry level professional to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on driving sales growth within a designated client portfolio by presenting compelling proof of concepts for our analytics products and services. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and engage potential clients, understand their needs, and demonstrate the value of our solutions through tailored presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: Actively engage potential clients through networking, cold calling, and industry events to expand the client base.
  • Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough research and client needs analysis to tailor solutions that meet their specific analytics requirements.
  • Proof of Concept Development: Collaborate with internal teams to create and deliver impactful proof of concepts that showcase the capabilities and benefits of our analytics services.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and present engaging presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of our solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring ongoing communication and support throughout the sales process.
  • Market Insight: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and client feedback to continuously refine our offerings and approach.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to align strategies and improve client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in analytics or technology sectors.
  • Proven track record of successfully acquiring new clients and achieving sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for building rapport and trust with clients.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools and software is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Other Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be open to frequent travel within North America.
