- Pay range: $120,00 - $130,000 annually.

Responsibilities:
- Support and guide Department Managers with employee relations, always maintaining a people-first approach. Serve as the deputy to the Operations Manager and be prepared to take the lead when necessary.
- Ensure optimal staff allocation across all departments to maximize operational efficiency.
- Oversee the effective dispatch of all flights, ensuring accuracy and adherence to customer specifications.
- Monitor production departments to maintain DO & CO’s high standards of quality and efficiency in alignment with internal regulations and Quality Assurance guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all Critical Control Points (CCPs), Health & Safety protocols, Food Safety standards, and applicable legal regulations.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with all Department Heads, promoting a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and proactive problem-solving.
- Represent DO & CO in daily internal and external communications, maintaining a positive and professional image.
- Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of operational policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance across departments.
- Ensure compliance with all airline, airport, and port regulations, and lead continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
- Participate in defining and refining policies and procedures.
- Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
- Partner with stakeholders to clarify business requirements and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Conduct cost and scenario analysis, benchmarking, and demand forecasting to support business planning.
- Assess, manage, and mitigate operational risks.
- Perform additional projects and tasks as assigned by senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven leadership experience in food manufacturing, logistics, transportation, or a similarly fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams with a proactive, hands-on leadership style and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Strong organizational and planning capabilities with a track record of managing complex scheduling, fleet operations, and resource allocation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey direction, build alignment, and inspire team collaboration.
- Highly analytical, with the ability to track and interpret operational metrics, assess trends, and implement data-driven improvements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with logistics, scheduling, or purchasing software is a plus.
- Skilled in contract management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Able to perform effectively under pressure and maintain composure in high-stakes, time-sensitive situations.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in order to meet the demands of a 24/7 operation.
