Responsibilities:
- Process and enter approximately 300 vendor invoices per week, ensuring proper approval, verifying check requests, and accurately coding invoices in the General Ledger (GL).
- Prepare and execute payment runs, including check processing for multiple companies and in-house wire transfers, while ensuring timely follow-up on urgent payments.
- Assist with credit card reconciliation and transaction posting.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date vendor database and accounts payable files, reconcile statements, and verify expense reports.
- Support the Accounts Payable team in processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
- Assist with 1099 preparation and contribute to special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Economics (preferred).
- Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and highly organized, with the ability to manage tasks independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a resourceful and analytical approach.
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial processing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
- Outstanding time management and organizational abilities to meet strict processing deadlines.
