Business Development Associate
Alliant Insurance is hiring a Business Development Associate for our Breitenfeldt office in MN!
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
• This role will develop and lead insurance seminars for business clients, supporting employee education and benefits awareness in a B2B setting
• Travel to markets as needed to facilitate prospect presentations
• Maintain and update the company's website and digital marketing to create a compelling ongoing website and social media presence.
SUMMARY
Responsible for coordinating and executing marketing campaigns while working in a team-oriented setting. Engages in developing and improving departmental operations, performance, productivity, and efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Travels to markets, as needed, to facilitate prospect presentations.
• Designs, produces, and delivers a variety of weekly spreadsheets utilizing Excel.
• Creates advertising and promotional concepts for marketing literature, presentation materials, specialty items, and advertising space.
• Measures the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communication programs and strategies.
• Recommends new ideas and marketing initiatives.
• Maintains and updates the company's website and digital marketing to create compelling ongoing website and social media presence.
• Executes marketing campaign tasks associated with email, direct mail, promotional giveaways, web content, media etc.
• Remains current with certain technology infrastructure and computer software applications.
• Supports licensed health insurance roles the company engages in as needed.
• Performs all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
One (1) or more years of general insurance industry or related field experience
Valid Insurance License or willing to obtain within 30 days (company paid)
Must have or be able to obtain health insurance licensure.
SKILLS
Maintaining current knowledge of products offered
Working knowledge of the general industry procedures, practices, and terminology
Excellent presentation skills
Excellent time management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to create spreadsheets
Ability to learn, evaluate, and analyze new business concepts, processes, and tools
