CRM Business Analyst
SUMMARY
Responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing Salesforce solutions, and ensuring the effective implementation of Salesforce projects for Alliant P&C. This role is important to driving business process improvements and ensuring that the Salesforce solution meets organizational goals. This individual will work closely with stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet business needs and enhance operational efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the requirements gathering process by collaborating with stakeholders, to define and document business needs for Salesforce projects.
- Develop comprehensive business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and process maps to guide the development and implementation teams.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization using Salesforce solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements, validate solutions, and ensure stakeholder alignment.
- Design POCs and propose Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives and best practices.
- Create detailed user stories, process flows, and functional specifications to guide the development team.
- Partner with IT/Salesforce resources to ensure the configuration and customization of Salesforce meets business requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate with enablement resources on end-user training sessions to ensure successful adoption of the system.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPls) to measure the success of Salesforce initiatives.
- Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce features, updates, and industry trends to inform business recommendations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
- Performs all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operates.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology or a related field.
2+ years experience as a Business Analyst on the Salesforce platform
Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools, with strong leadership and mentoring skills.
Two or more years’ experience creating user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
Two or more years’ experience in analyzing business processes and designing Salesforce solutions.
SKILLS
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to summarize complex issues
Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities and best practices, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Lightning Experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
