Corpay Lodging SMB Field Sales Manager
What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Field Sales Manager within our Corpay Lodging line of business. This is a remote position focused on growing business in our US market. As the Field Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 7-10 Field Sales Representatives, helping them grow Corpay Lodging’s footprint among small and midsize businesses (SMBs) that need cost-effective workforce lodging solutions.
Your primary focus will be on coaching and developing the team’s ability to sell to SMBs, manage client relationships, and drive adoption of Corpay Lodging’s services. You will report directly to the Vice President of Field Sales and work closely with the field sales team and key stakeholders to develop strategies that resonate with small business owners, office managers, and travel decision-makers.

Role Responsibilities
- Driving new business growth by developing and executing sales strategies that target SMBs (1-50 employees)
- Meeting and exceeding market sales quotas, focusing on companies with frequent but unmanaged workforce travel needs
- Coaching and mentoring your team to effectively prospect, present, and close deals with small business owners and decision-makers
- Tracking key sales activity metrics (KPIs) on a weekly basis, including pipeline management, prospecting effectiveness, closing rates, and customer onboarding
- Recruiting, training, and developing top sales talent, ensuring they are equipped to sell effectively to SMBs
- Conducting weekly one-on-one meetings, team meetings, and field visits to provide hands-on coaching and strategic support
- Helping sales reps simplify complex solutions for SMBs, emphasizing cost savings, operational efficiency, and ease of use
- Representing Corpay Lodging at local business events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads
- Providing detailed sales reports and insights to leadership on market trends and team performance
- Managing sales team expenditures in alignment with budgetary requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- 6+ years of professional sales experience, preferably with SMB customers
- Proven success in a consultative sales environment, selling B2B workforce solutions, SaaS, or travel-related services
- Experience leading sales teams focused on SMBs (1-50 employees), particularly those with high transaction volumes and short sales cycles
- Ability to coach and develop sales reps in selling to small business owners, office managers, and operations leads
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills to tailor solutions for SMBs looking to reduce lodging costs
- Proficiency in CRM tools, sales forecasting, and pipeline management
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Track record of achieving or exceeding quota in a competitive, target-driven environment
