What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Billing Specialist within our accounting division. This position falls under our corporate gifts line of business and is located in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that customer billing is complete and accurate. This position will provide direction to other departments (Sales, Client Services, Implementations, etc.) on billing requirements. You will report directly to the Billing Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensuring that customer billing is complete, timely, and accurate.
• Managing all billing issues that arise, this position serves as the primary point of contact, using sound judgment and extensive knowledge of all billing systems to ensure timely resolution. 
• Coordinating audit requests for all billing queries.
• Prioritizing, planning, and scheduling day-to-day routines and assigned projects to facilitate the overall needs of the accounting group. 
• Managing the coordination and distribution of information, project activities, reports, or other requirements with the finance group.
• Communicating promptly with the appropriate internal and external customers and associates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred)

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar accounting position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High-level experience with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, manipulation of data, and general ledgers. 
• Exceptional level of personal organization with excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Must be detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple assignments promptly and effectively, and possess strong follow-through abilities. 
• Demonstrated ability to work calmly in a fast-paced team environment while effectively managing multiple tasks.
• Superior telephone etiquette and customer service skills are required, with the ability to react quickly and decisively to resolve customer issues.
• Must possess proven problem-solving abilities, including the ability to identify problems and take ownership to help resolve them.
