SUMMARY: The Human resource information systems (HRIS) analyst administers databases, software, and computer systems that the company uses to manage their human capital and payroll. Their duties include analyzing HRIS systems, monitoring performance, configuration/testing of new functionality, extracting reports, building custom reports and consolidating enterprise-wide employee data for compliance reporting. The HRIS Analyst also oversees access of users, responds to inquiries for support and troubleshoots and resolves issues.  They may also be required to assist HR managers and generalists as needed.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify and recommend areas to simplify, standardize, and improve HRIS set up and maintenance of accurate data.
  • Maintain data integrity and enforce consistent data mapping across all HR systems.
  • Develop, maintain, support, and deliver a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools including semi-monthly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end activities and reports.
  • Provide support to HR production/test systems and required upgrades to system enhancements.
  • Maintain and support HR system interfaces.
  • Coordinate and conduct timely root cause analysis and drive to resolution for all HR systems, interfaces, and integrations.
  • Provide consultative direction, knowledge, and functional assistance to HR leadership, business leaders, end users, and other team members for ongoing administration of HR Systems.
  • Collaborates in HR audits and maintenance of controls and documentation for compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
    • or an additional 3 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience
    • or a minimum of one (1) year of HR System Implementation experience.
    • including a minimum of one (1) year of SAAS experience (Ceridian Dayforce preferred). 
  • Advanced proficiency with comprehensive HR/Payroll applications, preferably Ceridian Dayforce (payroll, HR, benefits and reporting modules) or similar platforms (Workday, ADP, Deltek Costpoint, UltiPro/UKG, SAP SuccessFactors).
  • Intermediate knowledge of other MS Office products.
  • Must be proficient with Excel (VLOOKUP’s, Pivot tables, If statements, conditional formatting etc.). 
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Basic understanding of HR functional processes and data requirements.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on timelines and multitasking as needed.
  • Solid interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills with focus on customer service.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with Self Service applications, Performance Management (e.g. SuccessFactors), Applicant Tracking (e.g. Workday, Smart Choice or Ceridian), and Learning Management Systems (e.g. Cornerstone).
  • HR System integration experience.
  • Payroll, benefits HR systems analysis, design, development, implementation, and integration with internal and external systems and applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with third party vendors and maintain basic relationships
