Welder - Operations

SUMMARY:  This position is responsible for all MIG welding operations for seat production.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Comply with all required safety protocols.
• Ensuring equipment and parts are correct for specified weld assemble based on work instructions and bill of materials.
• Prepares, assembles, and/or tack weld parts and surfaces to be welded.
• Punch and bends metal to meet required dimensions, connecting all components as outlined in the work instructions and/or bill of materials.
• Maintains all related equipment to safety and cleanliness standards.
• Operation of forklift and other equipment as necessary within safety guidelines. 
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

• High School Diploma or GED
• A minimum of 2 year of relevant work experience

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Welding certification
