 Laundry Aide

 for its

 Brand New Palace at Weston

An Independent, Assisted Living & Memory Care Community

16025 Emerald Estates Drive, Weston

The #1 Priority of this position is… 

To wash and press the community’s dining room tablecloths & napkins as well as the towels & aprons for the Beauty Salon, Wellness Center, and kitchen.
Distribute the clean supply of the above to the appropriate users. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

• Wash, dry, & iron all laundry, separate items as outlined in policies & procedures.
• Must maintain shelves neat and organized.
• Clean all dryer filters daily. 
• Fold and put away linen inventory.
• Process and discard stained, soiled, and reject linen.
• Follow daily and weekly laundry room cleaning schedules.

Qualifications 

• Experience in laundry duties in hotel or healthcare setting preferred.
• Must be able to operate industrial size washer, dryer & press machine, training provided.
• Ability to fold, organize and inventory linens.
• Bilingual preferred.

• Responsible, always on time, resourceful, very accurate and detail-oriented.
• Flexible as to work schedule. Must be available to work on weekends, holidays & in emergencies.
• Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task. 
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal communications and interpersonal skills.
