Title: Material Handler

Pay: $15/Hour 
Hours: Wednesday to Thursday from 2:00pm to 10:30pm & every Saturday to Sunday from 6:00pm to 6:30am.
Location: A biopharma company in Clayton, NC

$500 Hiring Bonus: After 90 Days!
$100 when/if you are vaccinated
$100 when/if forklift driver training/certification is completed
$300 After your 90 days of employment!
Additional $650 earned on 1 year anniversary  

Requirements:

• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Must have a Valid/Current Driver's License
• Ability to Pass MVR (Driving History) Screening
•  Have at least 5 years driving history
• Be 21 years of age or more
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, push, pull, and carry 35 lbs. or more.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: May include any or all of the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Safely execute all activities with the proper packaging, labeling, and loading of biohazardous waste.
• Able to operate equipment based on site requirements
• Responds to material handling needs in association with solid waste and recycling duties on-site and remote locations.
• Comply with all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in every waste handling area as required.
• Ensure that all medical waste is properly disposed of, where applicable.
• Verify that all logs (Chem Clav, Weights & Temperatures, Spores testing, etc.) are complete, accurate and adequately documented.
• Complete proper documentation, mandatory signatures and documentation for destruction
• Clear and dispose of recycling material in various locations
• Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
• Adheres to communication standards assigned by site.
• Forklift, and pallet jack experience a plus!
