General Cleaner

Janitorial General Cleaner (Part-Time)

Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM Compensation: $15.00 per hour

Location: Lexington, NC

We're looking for a dependable and thorough Janitorial General Cleaner to join our evening team in Statesville, NC. If you take pride in a clean environment and are looking for consistent part-time work, we encourage you to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain a high standard of cleanliness within the facility.

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.

• Empty trash and recycling bins.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures.

• Clean and sanitize common areas, break rooms, and offices.

• Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, countertops, and window sills.

• Restock supplies in restrooms and other designated areas.

• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.

• Report any maintenance issues or supply needs to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a janitorial or cleaning role is a plus, but we're willing to train the right candidate.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.

• Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds and performing physical tasks associated with cleaning (e.g., bending, stooping, standing for extended periods).

• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
