Job Title: Floor Technician - Industrial Facility

Schedule: Part-Time, Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Experienced Floor Technician Needed!

The Budd Group is searching for a skilled and experienced Floor Technician to maintain the floors at a large industrial site. This is a specialized role perfect for a candidate with a strong background in professional floor care and machinery operation.

In this position, you will be solely responsible for the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of all floor surfaces within the facility. Your expertise will be critical to upholding our high standards and ensuring a safe environment for all personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate various types of floor care machinery, including auto-scrubbers, high-speed buffers, carpet extractors, and strippers.

• Perform routine cleaning, scrubbing, and refinishing of hard surface floors (stripping, sealing, waxing, and buffing).

• Deep clean carpeted surfaces using extraction and shampooing methods.

• Follow a maintenance schedule to ensure all floor areas are cared for properly.

• Maintain all floor equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.

• Adhere to all safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and operating machinery.

Required Qualifications:

• MUST have previous, direct experience working as a Floor Technician.

• Demonstrable, hands-on experience using industrial floor care machinery is required.

• Strong knowledge of proper floor care techniques, including stripping, waxing, and buffing different types of flooring.

• Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.

• Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to quality work.

• Must be able to pass a background check.
