Open House Application-Material Handling

The Budd Group is a janitorial, facilities, and maintenance company that works in the Eastern regions of the U.S. We are seeking passionate individuals who have a long time career in material handling or who want to learn more about this field.

Positions Available: Material Handler

Pay Rate: $15.00/hour + Hiring bonus

Hours and Days: We have different shifts available, mainly full-time opportunities.

Location: Clayton, NC

Requirements:

• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Have 5 years of driving experience with the ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to work in an outdoor setting
• Prior warehouse handling experience preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: May include any or all of the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Safely execute all activities with the proper packaging, labeling, and loading of biohazardous waste.
• Able to operate equipment based on site requirements
• Responds to material handling needs in association with solid waste and recycling duties on-site and remote locations.
• Comply with all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in every waste handling area as required.
• Ensure that all medical waste is properly disposed of, where applicable.
• Verify that all logs (Chem Clav, Weights & Temperatures, Spores testing, etc.) are complete, accurate and adequately documented.
• Complete proper documentation, mandatory signatures and documentation for destruction
• Clear and dispose of recycling material in various locations
• Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
• Adheres to communication standards assigned by site.
• Forklift, and pallet jack experience a plus!
