The Budd Group is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Procurement Manager to join our growing team! In this key role, you'll be instrumental in identifying significant cost-saving opportunities, implementing strategic procurement initiatives, and cultivating strong supplier relationships. What You'll Do:
As our Procurement Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing agreements, optimizing value for The Budd Group.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Build and nurture collaborative relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams to drive mutual success.
- Cost Savings & Efficiency: Develop and execute innovative procurement strategies to identify and capture substantial cost-saving opportunities.
- Project Management: Effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and consistently meet deadlines in our fast-paced environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion adaptability, drive continuous improvement, and foster innovation within our procurement processes.
- Performance & Compliance: Monitor procurement spend, track key performance metrics, and ensure strict compliance with all recommended changes and standards.
- Achieve Objectives: Drive cost savings, operational efficiencies, and strategic objectives through best-in-class procurement practices.
What You'll Bring:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field is required. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is highly desirable.
- Experience: 5+ years of demonstrated experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, or supply chain management, with a preference for experience in facility services.
- Service & Supplier Expertise: Proven experience working with service agreements, labor staffing, and effectively managing suppliers to elevate performance standards.
- Analytical Acumen: A strong background in analyzing purchasing data, pinpointing cost-saving opportunities, and successfully implementing procurement strategies.
- Business & Negotiation Skills: Exceptional business acumen coupled with strong negotiation capabilities.
- Procurement Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, and contract management principles.
- Industry Awareness: Familiarity with industry trends, pricing dynamics, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Compliance: A solid understanding of purchasing policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Adaptability & Innovation: The ability to adapt to evolving business needs, drive continuous improvement, and foster innovation in procurement.
