What does a Line Process Analyst do at Swire Coca-Cola?

The incumbent is responsible to develop the team capability and technical understanding of processes through data collection and loss analysis. The incumbent serves as the expert in the centerline process and changeover improvement process. Accountable for integrity of data systems and loss elimination opportunities to deliver overall line results supporting the improvement of business results in the areas of safety, quality and delivery.
Job Details:
Schedule: 4am - 2:30pm (Mon - Thurs, flexibility required, OT and weekends, as needed)
Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in Line Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meetings and execution of the daily improvement plan. Report results of the past 24 hours (schedule adherence, ME, etc.) Partner with Line Manager on setting priorities and allocation of resources
- Review process failures and work with team members to identify root cause and countermeasures (using UPS/IPS/CAPA or other tools). Partner with Line Manager to prioritize loss elimination efforts based on data analysis (loss trees)
- Own the Centerline, Changeover Improvement, and Change Management processes for the production line, including all data analysis, management of targets, health checks, training and coaching of team members on these processes. Revise, audit and update documents as required
- Complete confirmations for production runs and investigate discrepancies
- Identify and document process waste and partner with Finance and CI manager for improvement opportunities
- Serve as a coach and resource for the team and actively participate in the execution of daily plan
- Capture feedback from team members on areas of improvement for the production line. Coach associates in identification of defects and use of defect handling cards
- Identify training gaps and facilitate cross-training and pre-shift training for team members
- Develop OPL (one-point lessons), update SOPs and work instructions based on team feedback and learnings
- Support onboarding of new hires
- Review JHA (job hazard analysis), Life Safety Rules and Safety Maps capturing and incorporating team feedback and learnings
- Conduct internal audits (GMPs, Safety, Quality) as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma (or GED) required
- Bachelor's Degree / technical certification preferred or equivalent work experience
- Intermediate level proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Lean Six Sigma experience preferred
- Prior experience in SAP or other enterprise management system
- 2+ years Continuous Improvement/coaching experience working in a high-speed manufacturing environment, with High School Diploma/GED required
- 2+ years Previous experience working in a high-speed manufacturing environment, including specific knowledge of problem solving, trouble-shooting techniques, quick changeover, and centerline process required
- 2+ years progressive experience in beverage production, maintenance, and/or warehouse operations required
- Complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with deep understanding of the business priorities
- Ability to work nights and weekends as needed to support a 24/7 operation
