Seasonal Retail Cashier

Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 an hour. 

Seasonal Cashiers support the store during the busy summer months. These are temporary roles starting mid-May and going through the end of September. This position will have more outside focused duties than a typical location. There is a major focus on making sure showers are kept clean (we can do up to 200 a day), laundering and organizing towels for the showers, keeping trash cans clean and empty on a large lot, pristine bathroom cleanliness with checks every 30 minutes cleaned and stocked every hour, high traffic on commercial diesel side that requires daily cleaning and maintenance, keep fuel islands cleaned and amenities stocked, such as paper towels and clean window wash vats.

What I'll do as a Seasonal Retail Cashier/Customer Service Associate:

• Greet every customer with a smile, thanking them for their business, and inviting them back.
• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Accurately ring up sales and merchandise, offering our customers available discounts/promotions while following all company policies and applicable laws regarding restricted sales.
• Maintain cleanliness, inside and outside the store.
• Properly label, rotate, and stock shelves, coolers, and displays.
• Meet the physical demands of standing, lifting, bending, and pulling items.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements: 

• Must be able to stand for an extended period. 
• While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen. 
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds. 
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
