Position Summary:  

The SVP, Multi-Channel Sales & Growth will drive revenue and EBITDA expansion through the creation of new sales channels to distribute IMG Academy products. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this role will oversee a large-scale inside sales organization comprising 500+ sales and management team members. As a key leader, the SVP will collaborate with sales leadership as well as cross-functional partners, including product/technology, marketing, and services teams, to develop and optimize multi-channel sales strategies. This role requires a strategic mindset, operational excellence, and deep experience in high-volume B2C digital products and services within the youth sports market.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the performance and development of a large-scale inside sales team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving a culture of accountability and excellence. Partner closely with EVP Sales, VP Sales, VP Sales Ops and other key leaders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity and utilization within the sales team through data-driven insights, process optimization, and targeted training initiatives
  • Implement sales strategies that integrate new products and features, tailoring approaches to meet customers at various stages of their journey to maximize total addressable market (TAM) and drive revenue growth
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement and optimize new sales channels, including call-in, chat, and digital. Develop and refine sales flows tailored to each channel to ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Partner with the CCO, product/technology, marketing, and services teams to align sales strategies with broader organizational objectives and customer needs
  • Assess current organizational strengths and weaknesses, preserving effective practices while identifying and implementing areas for improvement to ensure sustained growth and innovation

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum of 10 years experience building, scaling and optimizing large-scale inside sales organizations within high-volume B2C digital products/services environments
  • Minimum of 7 years experience building and mentoring high-performing sales teams at all levels 
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to assess market opportunities and align sales strategies with business objectives
  • Expertise in utilizing CRM systems, sales enablement tools and data analytics platforms
  • Ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals without direct reporting lines
  • Experience leading organizational change
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective sales processes, workflows, and tools tailored to specific customer journeys and channels
  • A results-driven, progress-over-perfection mindset to overcome challenges and drive continuous improvement
  • Familiarity with the youth sports market and its unique customer dynamics is highly preferred
