People Operations Analyst

Position Summary

The People Operations Analyst will be responsible for leveraging data-driven insights to support strategic People Operations decisions, improve employee engagement, optimize talent management, and enhance overall organizational performance. This role involves analyzing data, developing predictive models, and delivering actionable insights to the business. The People Operations Analyst will work closely with key systems to create reports and dashboards and collaborate across departments to ensure data supports the company’s workforce strategies.

 

Position Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze People Operations data, including employee performance, turnover, engagement, recruitment, and compensation
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies for workforce planning, retention, recruitment, and employee development
  • Utilize HRIS and other data tools to manage and analyze data
  • Prepare and present regular reports on People Operations metrics, highlighting key trends, insights and opportunities for improvement
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on analysis of people data, including identifying patterns and predicting future needs
  • Collaborate with business partners to align analytics with broader business goals and planning strategies
  • Support recruitment strategies by analyzing candidate data, sourcing channels, and success rates to enhance hiring processes
  • Assist in designing and executing employee engagement and retention strategies based on employee satisfaction data
  • Utilize predictive analytics and modeling techniques to forecast people related trends
  • Identify areas of continuous improvement in process optimization and improvements in data accuracy and efficiency
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field  
  • 3+ years of experience in HR analytics, HR data analysis, or related field
  • Strong proficiency in HRIS systems and data analysis tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, etc. and working knowledge of statistical analysis software)
  • Strong knowledge of HR metrics, KPI’s, and industry best practices
  • Knowledge of employee engagement surveys, organizational development and workforce planning
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively with People Operations, business leaders, and other departments
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes.

 

Preferred:  

  • Experience with predictive modeling and statistical analysis in a People Operations context
  • Experience working with Dayforce
