Event On-Call

The Event Staff, On-Call is responsible for making the game or event experience optimal for the student-athletes, families and guest.   

Position Responsibilities 

• Assist in various guest service and operational areas related to events and game-day-operations for IMG Academy 
• Directly interact professionally with teams, coaches, families, guests, officials, and players during event/games  
• Participate in all set up and breakdown activities for games/events 
• Roles vary but could include:\Stadium Operations:  Cleaning Crew, Game Day Give-A-Ways, Ticket Taker, Media Runner, Program Sales, Set up Crew, Photographer
• Game Day Operations:  Official Stat Keeper, Home Team Liaison, Video Assistant, Officials and visiting team liaison
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes
• Other duties as assigned  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities   

• Must be 18 years of age or older 
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience 
• Excellent guest service skills 
• Positive attitude
• Professional demeanor 
• Ability to work with a variety of people and personalities 
• Punctual and reliable 
• MS Office experience 

Preferred Skills 

• Experience or interest in working in events, facilities or sport management 
• Bilingual  

Physical Demands and Work Environment 

• Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of50lbs.  
• Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.
• Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
• Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
