Director, eCommerce
Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Director of eCommerce to lead and execute our Amazon and retailer.com strategy. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, optimizing performance, and enhancing customer experience across eCommerce platforms. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this leader will partner closely with brand, digital, product, and creative services teams to deliver high-impact eCommerce presence and growth that drives business results.
Essential Job Functions *
- Strategy & Execution
- Own and execute the strategic roadmap for Amazon and key retailer.com platforms (e.g. HomeDepot.com, Lowe’s.com, Walmart.com, etc.)
- Develop business plans and growth strategies for each platform, including channel-specific marketing, promotions, content, and product assortment.
- Lead annual planning & forecasting for the channel, aligned with broader marketing & commercial goals
- Performance Optimization
- Monitor and optimize sales performance, traffic, and conversion across all online retailer partners
- Use data & analytics to identify trends, improve digital shelf presence, and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage budget and work closely with Digital Marketing Team on ROI analysis for platform marketing (Amazon sponsored Ads, etc.)
- Cross – Functional Collaboration
- Partner with creative, digital and content teams to align product storytelling and content across channels. Ensure brand alignment across all digital touchpoints.
- Work closely with sales, supply chain, and customer teams to ensure inventory availability, accurate listings, and smooth operations
- Coordinate with retail partners for product line reviews, nuances of each retailers digital ecosystem, promotional calendars, etc.
- Collaborate with outside analytics partner and finance teams to deliver insightful reporting and actionable KPIs
- Team & Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with platform account reps, agencies and third-party technology partners as well as B&M sales team collaboration

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in eCommerce, with a strong focus on Amazon and retailer.com strategy.
- 3+ years of managing a team.
- Expertise within Home Depot, Lowe’s, or the hardware / home improvement category preferred.
Competencies – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proven success managing and growing eCommerce channel
- Proficient in managing both Amazon 1P (Vendor Central) and 3P (Seller Central) operations.
- Capable of navigating Amazon’s algorithmic changes and policy changes.
- Utilize data analytics tools like Amazon Retail Analytics and Stackline
