Warehouse Driver

Scope of Work:

The Driver is responsible for the transportation, loading, unloading, and moving of materials from warehouse storage facilities to company job sites.

Responsibilities:

• Transporting materials
• Timely deliveries
• Shipping/receiving
• Picking up/packing orders
• Processing orders in the computer system
• Stocking and re-shelving materials
• Other warehouse-related tasks as assigned

• Maintain delivery vehicles and equipment
• Handle receiving, archiving, and property control
• Coordinate activities of assigned employees (if applicable)
• Respond to general inquiries related to warehouse delivery issues
• Read and interpret shipping schedules, job orders, and shipping orders/requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, and/or distributed

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

• High school graduate, holder of G.E.D., or equivalent studies/experience

Experience:

• Previous driving/delivery experience
• Material handling, warehouse, shipping/receiving, storage/stockroom, or associated materials experience
• Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills
• CDL required
