Responsibilities:

• Receive ordered foods and beverages, check delivery notes, verify quantity received and check received goods (quality and quantity) and reject unacceptable products according to internal procedures
• Ensure traceability integrity is maintained
• Distribute products internally according to food safety rules and storage orders
• Adhere to HACCP and all other food safety rules (e.g. FIFO, date marking, Julian marking, correct storage etc.)
• Conduct inventory and accomplish goals and objectives while adhering to food safety regulations
• Ensure that all cases are broken down and labeled with a Julian Label/ Internal Lot coding system
• Breakdown palettes and boxes, store items in designated areas, and ensure receiving area is cleared in a timely manner
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, heavy workload and standing for a prolonged period as necessary
• Able to move, lift, carry, pull or push as needed
• Able to work independently and in a team environment
• High level of self-organization and quality-oriented
• Able to work in a cold or hot environment
• Flexibility (able to work different shifts - nights, weekends, holidays)
• Experienced with storing and handling merchandise preferably in the food industry
