Food Packer - Flight Checker

Responsibilities

• Responsible for checking and packing of food and goods according to DO & CO and airline specification
• Ensure correct number of meals for each flight are ready, packed and assigned correctly in a timely manner
• Pack and check aircraft galley equipment to ensure all are adhering to airline guidelines
• Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team
• Assist with airside operations under the direction of the flight coordinator

Qualifications

• Proactive and self-organized
• Ability to manage through a substantial workload
• Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to complete assigned tasks within the given time in order to meet strict deadlines
• Flexibility (different shifts –days, nights, weekends, holidays)
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 6 month of logistics/warehousing experience in a similar work environment preferred.
