Position Overview:
As the Retail Technology Services Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, supporting, and optimizing retail technology systems within the grocery distribution network. This role ensures the smooth operation of point-of-sale (POS) systems, digital payment solutions and inventory management software by identifying system inefficiencies, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting in new technology implementations. The Retail Technology Services Analyst collaborates with IT teams, retail partners, operations, and vendors to enhance system performance and support business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and assist with maintaining POS systems, pricing tools, digital payments, and retail inventory management systems.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, connectivity problems, and system errors.
- Track and analyze system performance, downtime, and transaction processing speeds.
- Provide insights into checkout efficiency, pricing accuracy, and sales data trends to optimize retail operations.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and system enhancements.
- Provide technical support and training to retail employees on new retail technology implementations.
- Assist in user testing and feedback collection for new software updates and system improvements.
- Collaborate with IT teams to manage cybersecurity risks, data protection policies, and compliance requirements.
- Support vendor relationships by assisting in troubleshooting service issues and ensuring SLAs are met.
- Coordinate with third-party technology providers to ensure timely updates and support.
- Help evaluate new retail technology solutions to enhance store operations and customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, cybersecurity protocols, and data privacy regulations.
- Assist in maintaining proper documentation of retail system configurations, updates, and security policies.
- Performing other duties as assigned by leadership

- Office Environment - 65*F - 75*F
Experience:
- Preferred: Two (2) years of experience retail technology services, IT support, or business analysis within grocery distribution or retail environments.
- Preferred: Experience working with POS systems such as NCR, SMS Lock, and RORC, pricing software, e-commerce platforms, and inventory management tools.
- Preferred: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Preferred: Proficiency in English (written and verbal) to effectively communicate with associates and leadership
