Business Application Support Specialist
The Business Applications Support Specialist will be responsible for in the field training and support on all current and future customer facing applications in the division with the responsibility of training our customers, DSM’s, DSR’s and BDM’s on Ben E Keith web-based applications including, but not limited to: KeithPay/EZ Pay ACH Applications, eMenuManage for Restaurants, eMenuManage for Health and Nutrition, ENTRÉE System, KeithNet 2.0 Direct Order Entry System, KBIT Customer Reporting System, MenuMax Recipe Costing and Nutritional Analysis Application, WebNow, and eAdvantage DMA. • Provide initial field training for new users working with any of the above customer facing applications. • Analyzes and defines user problems for the purpose of creating reliable technology training solutions that increase employee productivity and effectiveness. • Shares user feedback and learnings with appropriate individuals for the purpose of maintaining and/or improving software systems. • Coordinates trainings with user requirements for the purpose of ensuring required integration and achievement of objectives. • Creates curriculum and conducts training classes for the purpose of increasing employee competencies with enterprise applications. • Creates queries and reports for the purpose of providing timely and accurate information to customers. • Facilitates project communications with management, developers, and users for the purpose of having a common understanding of training outcomes. • Learns a variety of new software training approaches and maintains current knowledge of trends, developments, and techniques. • Conduct business review for each Division on a quarterly basis to verify user(s) are operating applications proficiently. Follow-up training on any new users. • Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient, effective functioning of training initiatives.
Job Qualifications:
• Must have excellent computer skills and proficient using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. • Food Service background or Dietitian with recipe costing, food service inventory, menu development and sales experience. • Must also have excellent presentation skills. • Considerable skills in application software training and effective customer service skills • Skill in personal computer operation and ability to learn and operate a variety of software programs; • Skill in providing technical advice and instruction to non-technical staff. • This job requires moderate travel; some overnight. 90% travel due to in-person training. This position will be working in all the districts in that specific division which will require travel. • Certified Chef, Bachelor’s Degree, or at least two years of commiserate experience with technology and foodservice preferred.
