SUMMARY 

Responsible for providing essential administrative and operational support to the Sales teams. This role helps streamline the PEO sales process, supports accurate proposal delivery, and ensures timely communication between prospects, internal teams, and external partners.  


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Collects necessary data for underwriting, including census file, payroll information, and benefits details.
  • Tracks deal progress, key deadlines, and document submissions.
  • Assists in the preparation of client proposals, pricing summaries, RFP responses, and sales presentations.
  • Manages sales team calendars, schedules prospect meetings, and coordinates internal calls.
  • Openly communicates with Manager and team to keep them informed of work flow and/or obstacles to meeting deadlines.
  • Coordinates internal team communications during the sales process, including benefits, HR, payroll, and implementation.
  • Generates and distributes weekly pipeline, activity, and conversion reports.  
  • Assists with lead generation activities including outbound campaigns, events, and webinars.
  • Point of contact for all internal questions on sales teams statistics and information.
  • Supports handoff process between Sales and Implementation teams for a smooth client experience.
  • Maintains and updates all CRM records in Salesforce.com or other sites as needed
  • Coordinates approved special projects as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS 
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE 

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Two (2) or more years experience in the insurance industry, including direct contact with carriers

Two (2) or more years experience in a PEO, ASO, HRO, or HR tech environment

Two (2) or more years understanding of group benefits, payroll systems, and HR compliance processes

Two (2) or more years experience supporting a high volume sales team

SKILLS

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent attention to detail

Good customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills

Good problem solving and time management skills

Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
