Job Summary:
The Front EndManager plays an integral role in store operations by ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers, maintainingan efficient checkout process, and using thorough and accuratecash control methods to maintainthe store’s financial integrity. The Front EndManager oversees operations by managing and organizing department resources to ensure customer service and workflow are administered according to company standards. They also perform the vitalrole of resolving customer concerns and inquiries in the most positive and customer-friendlymanner while still following company policies.
Essential Functions of the Position:

Oversees and manages all front endoperations, including cash registers, customer service,and checkout lines, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Trains and supervises front end staff to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and maintainhigh standardsof customer service and profitability through accuratecash control methods.

Addresses customer concerns and issuesprofessionally,providing resolutions that ensure customer satisfaction while adhering to company policies.

Monitors and maintainsinventory levels for the frontend, including supplies for cash registers, bags,and customer service materials to ensure availability and operational readiness.

Coordinates with store management and department leadership to facilitatesmooth operations including communicationfrontend logistical challenges.

Oversees the maintenance and cleanliness of the frontend to ensure a positive customer impression at all times.

Follows, promotes, and enforces all money handling procedures, including buybacks and 91s,and maintainsseamless cash flow integrity through safe and drawer balancing processes.

Assistscashiers in the counting-outprocess by verifying the till, all 91s, and the final pull. Provides the final reconciliation report and oversees theaccuracy of cash drops and reports.

Follows, promotes,and enforces all safety policies and protocols to ensure a safe shopping experience for customers and a working experience for employees.

Physical Requirements:

Stand and walk for extended periods, typically 8-hour shifts.

Lift and carry items up to 25 pounds frequentlyand up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Perform repetitive motions such as reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, and handling products.

Exhibit manual dexterity for handling money and operating POS systems, including 10-key adding machines and self-checkout (SCO) systems.

Maintain clear communication with customers and team members.

Move quickly and efficiently to assistcustomers and manage workload.

Utilize cash handling tools, including counterfeit bill detection pens and equipment.

Maintain physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Conditions:

Work Hours: Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays, as needed.

Environment: Indoor, climate-controlled,with adequate lighting and ventilation.

Primary Work Stations: Check stand POS, SCO, and count room, with occasional assistance needed throughout the store.

Dress Code: Professional and presentable attire as determined by store management, including a name tag, company-issued shirts, hats, and jackets, or personal shirts that are black, burgundy, or blue, in good repair,and not faded.

Exposure: May be exposed to moving mechanical parts and cleaning chemicals.

Noise Level: Usually low to moderate, with occasional loud periods from customers, store announcements, and equipment.

Interaction: Constant interaction with customers and team members in a fast-paced retail environment.
Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Experience: Over fiveyearsof experience as a Relief ManagerandPerson in Chargeis preferred. Supervisory experience is required. Previousexperience in retail is an added advantage.
