Summary:

 

Join our dynamic team at Cosm as an Installation Assistant, where you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing cutting-edge immersive experiences to life. You’ll assist in installing state-of-the-art LED CX-Displays and Spitz projection screens for planetariums, digital theaters, simulation centers, and architectural marvels across the globe. Under the guidance of our Installation Supervisor, you’ll help assemble and deploy technologies that are redefining how people experience entertainment, education, and architecture. At Cosm, we’re pioneers in immersive reality, and your work will directly contribute to creating awe-inspiring experiences that transport audiences to new worlds.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure seamless logistics: Safely load and unload delivery vehicles at diverse job sites, ensuring our advanced display systems arrive ready for installation.
  • Build the foundation: Collaborate with the Installation Supervisor to assemble robust frames that serve as the backbone of our immersive LED and projection technologies.
  • Craft stunning visuals: Carefully install high-quality panels to create seamless, visually captivating displays that leave a lasting impression on audiences.
  • Adapt and excel: Take on additional job-site tasks as assigned, showcasing your flexibility and dedication to delivering flawless installations.

 

Experience:

 

  • Education & Passion: High school diploma or GED, with a strong interest in technology and construction.
  • Mobility & Trust: Valid driver’s license for navigating job sites across the country and internationally; ability to pass FBI and state background checks for secure installations, especially in public schools.
  • Global Opportunities: Passport required, as your role may take you to exciting locations worldwide to install our immersive displays.
  • Safety First: Current OSHA 10 or 30 Certification, Forklift Class I to VII Certification, OSHA Scaffold Safety Certification, and OSHA Aerial Lift Safety Certification—all issued within the past 5 years—to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience managing a construction crew, demonstrating your ability to lead and coordinate teams effectively.

 

Working Conditions:

 

This is a hands-on role in a dynamic construction job site environment, where you’ll be at the heart of every installation. Expect to be on your feet for extended periods (8-10 hours), climbing scaffolding and working at heights with proper personal protective equipment (PPE). You’ll use a variety of power tools and hand tools to bring our visions to life. Be prepared to work in diverse environments, from climate-controlled facilities to outdoor settings, and handle heavy loads (up to 100lbs occasionally, 50lbs frequently), as the physical demands of the job require strength and endurance.
