Your Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging training sessions to individuals and groups, guiding DRG coders to success
- Create impactful training materials, tutorials, and online learning tools
- Continuously evaluate training effectiveness and identify opportunities to close knowledge gaps
- Conduct coder performance reviews and deliver timely, constructive feedback
- Perform DRG coding quality audits and ensure audit accuracy
- Analyze audit data, track trends, and provide actionable insights
- Support compliance initiatives and help identify recovery opportunities
- Champion continuous improvement by recommending process enhancements
- Maintain training records, resources, and documentation
- Collaborate with peers and leadership to share insights and solutions
- Uphold company standards in compliance, information security, and regulatory policies
What You Bring to the Table
- 5+ years of DRG and APR DRG coding, auditing, or training experience
- Certifications: RHIT or RHIA, CCS, and/or CPC
- Background in training or education (certification or degree preferred)
- Strong public speaking, mentoring, and interpersonal communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of medical terminology, coding practices, and training tools
- Skilled in project management, multitasking, and problem-solving
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and training platforms
- A passion for teaching, a keen eye for detail, and a team-first mindset
