Role: Transformation Consultant (New)

Location: New York City (Hybrid) – Tri-state area preferred

Objective: Lead the Software Optimization, Lifecycle, and Resource Improvement Strategy program, as well as multiple transformation workstreams under the program for the client. Enhance processes across all stages of Software Lifecycle Management (Plan, Acquire, Optimize, Retire, and Governance).

Project Duration: 12 months

Key Responsibilities

• Transformation Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor, leading and providing expert consultation on the transformation journey across multiple workstreams for an enterprise-wide program.
• Project Management: Oversee and drive the successful execution of key project modules, including scoping, timeline management, and progress tracking.
• Current State Assessment & Transformation Strategy: Conduct end-to-end process assessments to develop a roadmap for productivity improvements, automation, and process re-engineering.
• Change Management:

• Lead change management initiatives by coordinating with stakeholders and securing buy-in through Pilots or MVPs.
• Leverage a broad range of leadership and influencing styles—from respected manager to motivational senior coach—while demonstrating resilience in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships across functions (Technology, Sourcing, Finance), influencing key stakeholders at all levels with clear communication.
• Communications & Reporting: Lead Steering Committee meetings, present project progress to cross-functional leadership, and deliver actionable insights and recommendations.

What You’ll Bring

• 5–10 years of post-graduation experience in transformation consulting, with a proven track record in long-term transformation, operational improvement, or implementation initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Exceptional relationship management abilities, with a talent for building and sustaining effective client partnerships.
• A proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and a strong drive for professional growth.
• Preferred expertise in Technology and Software Optimization Transformation.
• Tools: Excel & PowerPoint (required); SQL & Power BI (preferred).
