Job Description:

The Project Manager at EXLservice.com, LLC in New York, NY will develop predictive models using statistical algorithms & machine learning techniques. Analyze and ensure data quality using statistical procedures. Create project plan, team structure, project approach, milestones and project deliverables. Identify tools to ingest and store client’s data in most optimized, cost effective way. Set up data-labs and analytical workspace leveraging Qubole and Snowflake. Work on real-time data capture, provide platforms support for real-time data analytics, business use-cases. Build data frameworks in HIVE, PySpark, Scala, and Amazon Redshift to facilitate data pipeline development for SDLC. Work on ETL tools, frameworks to automate and standardize development, testing processes. Process and clean the data to get in the desired format ensuring availability of all the necessary variables/attributes to enable the data driven analysis. Create, transform, roll up, merge, and append the data tables and create necessary flags using Structured Query Language (SQL). Validate and ensure the performance and robustness of data model prediction accuracy. Calculate performance metrics. Optimize the model by re-building with feature engineering, better variable selection and hyper parameter tuning. Analyze online behavior, Understand and interpret business needs, outline project scope based on client requirements. Share insights based on data and provide recommendations to the client. Present the results to the leadership team and share the strategic recommendations in business presentations to the stakeholders. Create different views and cuts of data by applying segmentation, MS-Excel pivot tables, frequency distributions, t-statistic, and z-statistic hypothesis testing. Create automated reports, dashboard and exhibit meaningful data using charts and graphs for better visualization. Enable Data Visualization using Bar charts, histograms, boxplots, line charts, dot-plots, and scatterplots. Ensure Code Integration/Deployment (CI/CD) via measurement of key metrics and linking to ongoing SDLC. Will work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States. Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the United States.

Job Requirements:

Requires Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Operations Research, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, plus one (1) years of experience in Statistician or related occupation. Requires 1 year of professional experience in data extraction and data visualization. Must include one year of experience with each of the following:  1) Python R; (2) Agile project management methodology; (3) working with complex data structures and large datasets in a real business setting; (4) developing end-to-end solutions from requirement gathering to solution deployment, and building key business metrics; (5) Business Intelligence (BI) tools including Excel or Tableau; (6) analytical tools including SAS and SQL; (7) building, stabilizing, validating, and monitoring statistical models and ensuring that they meet the client guidelines; and (8) delivering data analytics presentations to clients, senior managers and executives.  Employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of experience in Operations Research, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field in lieu of a Master’s degree plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered in Statistician or related occupation.

40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, Salary : $142,000 - $145,000 per year.
