Healtcare- Data Science Internship

About the Role:

We’re looking for a passionate and self-motivated AI Engineering Intern to join our AI innovation team. This role offers hands-on experience working on real-world projects that integrate Generative AI, privacy-preserving technologies, and modern cloud-based architecture. You’ll collaborate with senior engineers and product teams to build and scale AI-driven solutions that make a tangible business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and deploy AI services using Azure, OpenAI APIs, and LiteLLM.
• Develop Python-based microservices using FastAPI, integrating LLMs, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Implement data anonymization techniques and secure interfaces with authorization and authentication layers (OAuth, JWT).
• Participate in prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and building reusable components for AI pipelines.
• Collaborate in agile teams to prototype and iterate on AI product features.
• Document and present technical work to stakeholders.

Desired Skills:

• Proficiency in Python programming and RESTful API development.
• Familiarity with Azure AI services, OpenAI models, and LiteLLM framework.
• Understanding of embeddings, vector similarity search, and LLM-based architecture.
• Knowledge of data privacy techniques, PII/PHI anonymization, and security best practices.
• Exposure to FastAPI, OAuth2/JWT, and deploying APIs securely.
