Position Title:      Senior Manager

Job Description:

The Senior Manager at EXLService.com, LLC in New York, NY, will gather analytical data about business processes to develop new solutions for management to enhance efficiencies. Work on pipeline creation, data ingestion, storage, wrangling, cataloguing, quality, and security features. Work with application development and data engineers on day-to-day tasks. Participate in project planning and implementation. Coordinate with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and business leaders to understand data needs and their delivery. Define technical roadmap and drive key technology decisions with senior technology stakeholders. Improve, optimize, and identify opportunities for efficient software development processes. Help achieve milestones as per sprint plan. Prioritize to manage ad-hoc requests in parallel with ongoing sprints. Use technologies including SAS, Python, Pyspark, Big Query, Airflow, Jenkins, GIT, Zeke, Tidal, SQL, and Hive to perform data extraction, Big Data processing, data analysis and generating final reports for vendors. Responsible for migrating projects from on-prem to cloud (GCP). Provide support in development activities by training, staffing, performing recruitment and business development support. Deliver data analytics presentations to clients and senior executives. Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the United States. Position may work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States.

Job Requirements:

Requires Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a related IT field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related Management Analysts or a related occupation. Requires five (5) years of professional experience in the following: Cloud Technologies, including GCP, Azure, or AWS; Working with Relational Database management systems , Data platforms, including Data warehouse, Data Lake, and ODS, Hadoop, Programming languages ; MVC; Azure Cloud Services; Angular SPA; SQL Server; SVN; Selenium; and Application Life Cycle Management using Azure DevOps. Including Python/R, Scala, Java, Hive, Spark, SAS, and Kafka; (6) CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, GIT, and Control-M; (7) Data pipeline and workflow management using Airflow , Tidal, and Zeke; (8) Big Data ingestion, transformation and stream processing using Apache Nifi, Apache Kafka, Kinesis, Sqoop, Spark, Spark streaming, or Storm; and (9) using project management tools including JIRA and Confluence.

40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, Salary range: $159,682 to $175,000/year.
