Job Title:              Music Instructor

Location:              Annapolis Corps – Annapolis, MD  

Position Type:     Temporary, PT – summer, (Mon – Fri 10am-1pm)               

Pay Rate Range:  $40 - $60/hour         

About this opportunity:

The incumbent will plan, coordinate, and direct the functions of the Music Day Camp; ensure the quality of programs and safety of youth at all times; and provide guidance and role modeling to youth and ensure safety and positive experience for the students.

What we are looking for in you:

Six (6) months of experience teaching music education and teaching experience, with the ability to play and teach lessons in a classroom setting involving more than one student preferred; OR any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Licenses and Certifications:

None, but valid Driver’s License, preferred.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Some physical requirements of the position could be endurance including standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching.
• Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to manipulate music equipment and activities are required.
• Requires a normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate musical activities/programs and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have a willingness to work irregular hours delivering a program in the facility available.
