Program Manager (Housing Support)
Location: Sarasota, Florida
Position Type: Full-Time | Exempt | 40 hours per week | Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend hours as needed
Pay Range: $70,000 to $75,000
About this opportunity:
The Program Manager for the Housing Support Team provides strategic leadership to housing support staff and oversees the daily operations of shelter programs. This role ensures full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including those related to health, safety, and licensing standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct supervision and leadership to 11 Residential Monitors, including the Lead Monitor, fostering a safe, drug-free, and structured environment. Promote collaboration across staff to deliver high-quality services and maintain a therapeutic community atmosphere.
- Plans, directs, coordinates, and monitors the day-to-day operations of Shelter Programs under the leadership of the Program Director.
- Participate in the Center of Hope on-call rotation, including after-hours support, to respond to emergencies affecting program participants and staff.
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry of essential documentation, including client logs, incident and accident reports, program statistics, and sign-in/sign-out records. Provide training and guidance to staff to maintain consistency and accuracy in reporting and communication across the Center of Hope.
What we are looking for in you:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Human Services, or a related social services field,
and
Four years progressively responsible experience administering and developing social services programs
or
any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Works is performed in a normal office Shelter environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like depending on the day’s needs.
