Location:  Fort Myers Area Command, Fort Myers, FL

Position Type:  Regular Full-Time

Pay Rate:  $21.26/hour

About This Opportunity: Researches and coordinates, processes, tracks and administers grants, contracts and licensing agreements for the Area Command and its programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates, organizes, and processes applications, grants, contracts and licensing agreements in their entirety for review by the Area Commander.

 

  • Organizes and processes documents to meet deadlines in a timely manner; coordinate schedules with Corps/Divisional Headquarters/Territorial Headquarters in order to meet specific timelines; serves as liaison/contact person between Corps and Divisional Headquarters in processing documents. Coordinates directly with prospective funders on matters involving the language in documents.

 

  • Verifies that all grant and contract awards are compliant with the funding sources and communicates these requirements with the staff managing the funded program.

 

What we are looking for in you:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in related field AND

 

  • Five years progressively responsible experience performing grants/contract/ licensing management work, OR

 

  • Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

 

  • Ability to read, write and communicate the English language.

 

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
