Case Worker

Location: Tampa Area Command, Tampa, FL

Position Type: Full Time at 37.50 hrs/wk

Pay Range: $17.73 – $19.95/ Hour

About this opportunity:

This position is responsible for providing social service assistance to eligible clients.  

Key responsibilities:

• Interviews clients to determine needs and eligibility to receive assistance and/or eligible for the Pathway of Hope program.
• Ensures compliance with program policies and procedures; monitors assigned caseload of clients.
• Prepares accurate and complete client records.
• Establishes program plan/goals and evaluates client's progress by conducting routine meetings with client and/or staff.
• Serves as advocate for client in order to acquire services that will enable them to functionally cope with their environment.

What we are looking for in you:

• Two years of college coursework from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Behavioral Science, or related field, AND
• Two years’ experience working in a social or public service environment with experience assisting the public, OR
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

• Valid State driver’s license required.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
